Loadability
Our B747-400 freighters offer 112-tonne capacity for general cargo, live animal, heavy and oversize pieces.
We can load freight up to 3m high and regularly handle shipments up to a door dimension of 3.40 m. The limitation for long pieces depends on the dimension. A realistic value is a length of 9.20 m.
We consider pieces
- heavier than 5 tonnes as “heavy”
- exceeding a length of 3.18 m and a height or width of 2.40 m as “oversize”
All shipments are transported in accordance with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), and approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
